Business Clustering: Growth With Purpose
We support businesses. We also deserve a plan for how our city grows. My concern is the concentration of the same types of businesses in one area. Read my policy on mapping concentrations, hearing what neighborhoods need, and reviewing clear, fair standards. Watch my December 10, 2025 council remarks: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WgAc0pZ7eqM

Lower Rate. Higher Bill. Check the Facts.
Following the Northampton forum, I’m sharing the full tax picture: Hampton’s rates, residential assessments, a dollar example and the city sources. I know the numbers because I’ve been involved. Watch my recorded Council remarks on taxes, employee pay and budget priorities, with links to the official minutes. Thank you, Northampton and Aberdeen. Hampton Early Voting Is Off to a Strong Start
Hampton, more of our neighbors are voting early compared with the same point in 2022. Let’s keep that participation going.
City Council makes decisions that affect our homes, our taxes, and the services we depend on. Your vote helps decide who makes those decisions.

Public Office Means Public Service
Public office comes with a duty to the people we serve.
That means listening when the conversation gets uncomfortable. Explaining decisions that affect your home and your paycheck. And following through after the election is over.
“Their exemplary service reminds us of the fundamental purpose of public office: to serve, listen, and act in the best interest of the community.”
— Aaron T. Weaver, Hampton City Council public comment, April 24, 2024
These words reflect the standard I believe we should expect from anyone asking for our vote, including me.

We Will Keep Showing Up
Your community deserves someone who stays with the work.
When I spoke about a school’s forgotten legacy, I spoke about the students, their stories, and a community that deserved recognition. Restoring trust takes continued work, even after the first step forward.
That commitment is what I bring to Hampton City Council. The biggest indicator of what I will do is what I’ve done.

We the People in Hampton Are Somebody
What happens when an elected official violates the public’s trust? Hampton residents deserve a clear answer.
I submitted a FOIA request, brought that question before Hampton City Council, and called for clearer accountability rules and safeguards for city employees and residents. I also challenged the dismissal of people who had spoken up for their neighborhood.
That is what Public Clarity means to me: understandable rules, meaningful protections, and action residents can see.
The biggest indicator of what I will do is what I’ve done. Watch my remarks, share the record, and make your plan to vote Aaron T. Weaver for Hampton City Council.

This Fight Is for Every Community
Your neighborhood deserves a voice before decisions are made.
At Hampton City Council, I challenged plans for industrial development on former school property. Residents had asked for housing. I pointed to other city land sales supporting housing and questioned why our neighborhood’s request was being dismissed.
That is what Residents First and Growth with Purpose mean to me: hear the people who live there, explain the choices, and consider the solutions they bring.
The biggest indicator of what I will do is what I’ve done. Watch the record, share it, and make your plan to vote Aaron T. Weaver for Hampton City Council.

Taking Under Advisement Cannot Be the End of the Conversation
Residents deserve answers—not an issue left unresolved.
At Hampton City Council, I pressed for action on safety concerns, publication of the poverty-study findings, and clarity about Hampton Aquaplex’s financial responsibilities. That’s the accountability I’m running to bring to the council table.

A Podium Is More Than Furniture
A podium is more than furniture. It’s where residents stand, speak, and hold their government accountable.
My public comments on podium access show what I stand for: a Hampton City Council that makes room for the people it serves.

Hampton Property Taxes: What Happens to Your Bill?
A lower tax rate can still leave you with a higher bill.
In my Hampton property-tax breakdown, I ask the question that matters at your kitchen table: what are you actually paying? Rising assessments belong in that conversation.
